Today marks the centenary of the artist’s birth on January 24th, 1919. The William N. Copley Estate is pleased to celebrate this occasion with news of more exhibition activities, a highlight of which is Fringe, featuring William N. Copley, Jenny Watson and Saskia Pintelon, opening January 27th at Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens in Deurle, Belgium, and on view through May 26th, 2019. Fringe brings an exciting dialogue between three individuals who occupy a unique place within the contemporary art world. Copley: The Coffin They Carry You Off In, a marvelous show at the ICA Miami focusing on the artist’s works made between 1956 – 1958. More images and info here.
