Currently on view now through May 26, 2019, Fringe is a three-person exhibition organized by Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens in Deurle, Belgium, featuring William N. Copley, Jenny Watson & Saskia Pintelon. The museum states the exhibition fosters “an exciting dialogue between three individuals who, with an extremely personal and often subversive interpretation of their environment, occupy a unique place within the contemporary art world.”
Among the Copley works on view, Fringe features a remarkable wall of works on paper by the artist, highlighting drawings created between 1970 and 1991. The salon-style wall presents an overview of the range of subjects and styles that motivated Copley’s drawing practice in the later years of his work.
